Green smoothies are great. Especially if you can’t taste the greens. At least that is how I like them. I like sweet fruity smoothies, and if they have some hidden health benefits to them even better. The tropical flavors of the avocado, mango and pineapple blend beautifully with the sweetness of the freshly squeezed orange juice and the lime gives it that zesty something. The avocado also creates a smooth and creamy texture and in combination with the kale leads to a vibrant green color. The perfect fruit smoothie to sip on at any time of the day.
Tropical avocado smoothie
- 6 oranges juiced (or around 500ml of orange juice)
- 1/2 lime juiced
- 1 avocado
- 100g frozen mango chunks
- 100g frozen pineapple
- 2 handfuls of fresh or frozen kale
- Step 1 Combine all your ingredients in your blender and let it run until everything is nice and smooth.
- Step 2 Serve with a colorful straw and enjoy!
